Loll Umbrella frames are constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials. All cast aluminum components (nuts, bolts, pulleys, cam cleats, etc.) are designed to withstand the most corrosive environments.
The canopy is hand sewn using awning grade fabric to resist staining, mildewing, fading and withstand the harshest elements.

What kind of material is Loll made out of?
Loll products are made with recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) primarily from milk jugs (#2 plastics) that you take out to the curb every week. Milk jugs are used due to their lack of pigment so Loll’s vibrant colors can be created. As Loll material is a post-consumer recycled material, the medium to create the material does inevitably fluctuate. Although we do continuously strive for the best consistency possible, material color and texture may slightly vary from sheet to sheet and thus product to product.
Is there ultraviolet (UV) stability in Loll material?
Yes. Loll products are manufactured with a highly weatherable HDPE sheet. Our post consumer resin includes a superior UV additive designed for plastics that improves exterior durability, greatly reducing characteristic surface degradation caused by sunlight and other UV light sources. Pigments / color concentrates are also added that are formulated with the best weathering pigments available in the market in a particular color-space.
Is fading covered under warranty?
No. The sun is very hard on materials that have constant direct exposure and we cannot guarantee the material color will not change over time. However, the HDPE that Loll uses has a UV stabilizer and is very resistant to fading. The color is not a finish coat; it is a pigment embedded in the material throughout. Some pieces use Richlite natural paper composite. Richlite will patina as it weathers and the lighter, natural colored material will redden or turn grayish. Black will remain black for years but with some apparent weathering. You will never have to paint or stain Loll Furniture. Our Warranty.
Will I see any change of color in my product?
The good news is that in most applications probably not. Further, darker colors are naturally much more resistant to change than lighter colors.
When products are placed in full direct sun, testing has shown NO significant change of color over time for:
- Black
- Charcoal Grey
- Cloud White
- Sky Blue
- Driftwood
- Navy Blue
Testing has shown INCREASED change of color over time for:
- Apple Red
- Sunset Orange
- Leaf Green
Care + Maintenance
Loll Umbrella canopies are made with awning grade fabric to resist staining, mildewing, fading and withstand the harshest elements. The canopies are easy to clean, and we recommend simply spot cleaning with a mild soap and water.

This piece of Loll furniture is classified as oversized and ships via a third party freight truck on a pallet and delivered curbside. You will be contacted by the shipping company when your order reaches your vicinity to schedule a window for delivery. Upon arrival, the shipper will lower the pallet(s) to the ground at your curb. You will be responsible for removal of the pallet and packaging. We have gone to great lengths to make our furniture assembly very simple. This product is either knocked down (partially assembled) or flat-packed to save on resources. Included in every box are easy-to-follow instructions and any tools needed to assemble your furniture. I bought this table to accompany a number of other pieces that I have been collecting over the last few years. I love all your products. The right balance of practicality and good design. This table is small enough to fit into the space that I had, and sturdy enough to be useful.
We ordered four of these bad boys and they do not disappoint. We selected leaf green, and they are a great punch of color around the pool. They are designed beautifully, go together easily and are oh so sturdy (and comfortable)!
We have a few of the tall chairs in different styles on our decks. We ordered this couch for a screened in porch area. We were looking for something that would be very comfortable to lounge on. This couch for us was not that. First, we should have looked closer before ordering because without any "feet" it seemed very low. The cushions added give it the needed height but for two people over 5'10 this was just very uncomfortable. The seats are not deep at all. We both sat on it (my husband is 6'1) and neither of us lasted more than 10 minutes. There was just no leg support. The quality is there and the cushions were very nice and well made. But we had to return it. I'm sure the best styles for us are the "tall" which I'm glad are available.
