Host The Most With Loll

Host The Most With Loll

We love bringing people together outdoors; it’s why we’ve created outdoor furniture for lounging around the fire, catching up on the front porch, or enjoying a meal outdoors. While no two get-togethers are the same when it comes to hosting, there are a few pieces of advice that can help any occasion go smoother. We put together five simple tips that can help you master the art of being a good host! After all, hosting is a skill that we can all learn, so you can enjoy your next get-together from start to finish with your guests.

Make sure there is room for everyone on the guest list!

Whether you are inviting folks over for appetizers and drinks, or a late-night fire. Make sure you have enough seating for everyone invited and set it up before they arrive. This way, everyone feels welcome and not like a last-minute add-on. Need some seating arrangement ideas for your next get-together? Explore different set ups to draw inspiration from in our Shop The Scene collections.

Be outside with your guests.

Folks want to see you! By creating a prep area outside or an outdoor drink station, you remain a part of the action even while you are hosting. Looking to add to your outdoor prep and drink station? Our A La Carte pieces pair with your outdoor grill to create an outdoor kitchen for when you need more space to prep and cook. They are also a modular option so they can shift easily with your needs. Looking for a smaller footprint? We also have a selection of bar carts that feature wheels to move with the action throughout the night and keep the good times rolling!

Tip: Planning an outdoor meal? Choose grilled items or dishes that can be prepped before folks arrive!

Give yourself time.

All good things take time, and you don't want to be rushed when planning your next event. Rather than rushing to get everything set up, only to realize you need more ice just as people arrive, give yourself more time than you think you need. Aim to be ready 30 minutes before you expect your first guest to arrive. Plus, it gives you a chance to take a breather and ready yourself for the fun.

Set the mood.

Add bonus lighting as needed and background music to create the vibe. Throw it back to the Beach Boys for an endless summer feeling (everyone likes a little Beach Boys in the playlist), or create a personal backyard experience with a curated soundtrack! Don’t have time to create your own? We have you covered with our Backyard Party Playlist on Spotify!

Be yourself!

No one knows you and your guests better than YOU! Create an event that flows with how you like to enjoy your space. The joy of being the host with the most is relaxing and enjoying time with folks you adore. You create the vibe and everyone will be there with you appreciating the outdoors to the fullest!

We hope these tips give you the boost to get out there and host the most! Tag us on social during your next get-together featuring Loll with #lollon, we would love to see it!
